Tres Cocos

WINDY!

Today was windy on the reef! After a talk from Dr. Mattes, we snorkeled the north end of the this area of the reef in two groups of 8.  This is an unprotected area of the reef and the reef is struggling at bit. There were good stands of elk coral interspersed with other species of coral. After about 1 hour,  we came back on the boat for lunch and ate our first round of bean dip and sandwiches. All agreed that bean dip  was amazing.

After lunch went back out for the south side of Tres Cocos and looked for more fish.

    1. Sorry- the students were using the computers last night for several hours and the internet is quite slow. Please be patient with us! Thanks!
